"Phantom of the Opera" national tour

I saw the Phantom of the Opera national tour in St. Louis in May, 2018. It was my first time seeing the show, and I was very impressed by the whole production. I met a lot of the cast at the stage door, although some of them didn't come out because they were having an opening night cast party.

Jessie Mueller

This response was super out of the ordinary... I wrote to Jessie Mueller at the beginning of Carousel's run (while they were still in previews), and I included a SASE. About a month later, I received a response from her with a signed playbill (I posted it the other week). About a month after that (so two months after I sent mail to her), I received mail from the Imperial Theatre. I was really confused, because I hadn't sent mail to anyone there except for Jessie, and I had already received a response from her. So I ended up getting another response from Jessie with another signed playbill! She even used her own envelope (I almost always include a SASE when I send to people). I was very surprised by this second response- I guess she couldn't remember if she wrote back to me or not, so she just went ahead and wrote to me?

Mamie Parris

I wrote to Mamie Parris in Cats, and she sent me back a signed playbill, signed headshot, and she filled out the questionnaire I sent to her. It took over a year to get this response, but I think it must have gotten misplaced or something at some point because I've seen other people get responses back very quickly.

I wrote to Ethan Slater, who plays Spongebob in Spongebob Squarepants. I sent him a little Spongebob ornament, and I did include a SASE for his response. He wrote back pretty quickly, and he sent me a signed, personalized playbill.

"School of Rock" national tour

I saw the "School of Rock" national tour in St. Louis in January, 2018. I was truly blown away by the talent of the kids in the show, and I loved how high energy it was. I stage doored and was able to meet most of the cast. I especially enjoyed talking to the kids in the show- they were all so sweet and friendly.

"Meteor Shower" stage manager

I wrote to the "Meteor Shower" stage manager and requested a playbill. I did include a SASE, and they sent back a full cast-signed playbill, which I was super excited about! They also responded pretty quickly.
